Gibor has four decades of experience bringing equity and inclusion to the scientific community. This has included  participating in or managing professional development programs, outreach programs, university policy committees, and national committees. He has mentored many students from underrepresented populations and seen some to gratifying successes. The STEM fields have been slow to make progress so this is an ongoing effort.
